American artist Jon Hair majored in Fine Arts with scholarships to The Ohio State University and The Columbus College of Art & Design, both located in Columbus, Ohio. He has taught art classes at The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio where he also served on the Board of Advisors for the College of Fine Arts. Jon has enjoyed great success as a Designer and Art Director, creating logos for the City of Charlotte, NC and the international art exhibition “Ramesses The Great”. He has won numerous awards for his design work including a Gold Award at the prestigious Broadcast Design Art Directors’ International Design Competition. His design clients include IBM, General Electric, Siemens and Cendant Corporation. Jon has been a self-publishing sculptor since 1997 and is proud to be a member of The National Sculpture Society. His most important sculptural commission to date is a 30-foot monument for The United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Other major commissions include The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida, Husqvarna Forest & Garden and many colleges and universities in the United States.
