| HIGH POINT, NC|
Towering nearly 30 feet into the Carolina sky, Jon’s latest creation entitled “The Human Link” conveys a sense of community and fellowship to High Point University’s student body.
The 1-ton, 24-foot-tall bronze and stainless steel sculpture is located in David Hayworth University Park and features three figures helping each other climb a helix structure.
The piece serves as a metaphor for individuals striving to better themselves and their communities. It also exemplifies the benefits of cooperation and the need for human interaction.
Since 2005, the University has commissioned Jon to create 17 sculptures for their campus. He is proud to be a part of the school’s continuing success.
