 | | | Since ancient times, artists have been enthralled with the most magnificent of creatures, the horse. The Babylonians, Greeks, and Romans all immortalized this amazing animal in paintings, wall reliefs, and sculpture.
Jon has sculpted this life size Mare and her Foal. Ears perked up, something has obviously caught his attention, but the mother is undistracted and contentedly grazing.
The full size clay original sculptures are shown here. The edition is currently being cast in bronze. Final castings can be any color patina.
