WINSTON-SALEM, NC- Jon has just received a commission to sculpt a twice life-size bronze statue of the "Demon Deacon," athletic mascot of Wake Forest University, a private, coeducational, liberal arts institution.

Located in the heart of North Carolina, Wake Forest is a member of The Atlantic Coast Athletic Conference.

A sketch of the sculpture is shown here. The sculpture will take about one year to produce and is scheduled for installation in 2008, at the newly renovated football stadium.
