| COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A caravan of forty-foot semis, a squadron of 15,000 pound
forklifts, a 300 foot crane and an army of workmen took five days to install
Colorado’s largest bronze monument at The U.S. Olympic Training Center in
Colorado Springs.
“Olympic Strength,” a two year labor of love, towers nearly forty feet into the
Colorado sky, and is destined to become the signature art piece of the U.S.
Olympic Team.
The sculpture was dedicated on Olympic Day and was featured on the Aug/Sep cover
of Olympic Beat, the US Olympic Committee’s official news magazine.
