After an intense national competition, the University of Cincinnati's Art Committee selected Jon's powerful Bearcat sculpture design, as the winning entry in their recent national mascot sculpture competition.
A bearcat (binturong) is a nocturnal animal from the dense forests of Southeast Asia. The Cincinnati Zoo has displayed a live bearcat at UC's home football and basketball games for nearly 13 years.
